Many people make a newsletter signup form. You can do it like this:

Add a form to your front page or sidebar.
Setup a form

Disable the subject and message fields.

Configure the email subject.

Configure the introduction text.

Optionally disable the required field indicators.

Optionally disable the CAPTCHA.

Optionally disable the “powered by” message.

Optionally adjust the width of the Name and Email fields.

Finished

Optionally post form to 3rd party newsletter API
Tip: Send the posted form data to another site.
