How to make a select field for multiple email contacts?
I’d like the user to be able to choose to send message to either webmaster, sales, or customer service depending on which selection they choose.
Yes this is possible. On the Basic settings tab of the form edit page, you can set this with the “Email To:” setting. This sets the Email address the messages are sent to. Here are some examples:
Single “Email To:” contact:
Selectable “Email To:” contacts: Add as many contacts as you need, the drop down list on the contact form will be made automatically. Each contact has a name and an email address separated by a comma. Separate each contact by pressing enter. If you need to use a comma in the name, escape it with a back slash, like this: \,
If you need to add more than one contact, follow this example:
Multiple Emails per contact. You can have multiple emails per contact using [cc]Carbon Copy. Separate each email with a semicolon. Follow this example:
You can specify [cc]Carbon Copy or [bcc]Blind Carbon Copy by using tags. Separate each email with a semicolon. Follow this example:
How to change the label “Select a Contact:”
All form labels can be changed on the form edit page in the “Labels” tab. Any of these fields can be filled in to override the standard labels.
